with what he was given?

The second most talented team in the conference?

This is what I believe too. He'd have to have a once in a lifetime player fall into his lap.

It's clear people are satisfied with mediocrity. Just play Bama close for a couple quarters and we'll give you a lifetime contract.

Like I said. We have no other choice but to give him a shot. Clearly we have no say in the matter. Our AD would rather have a few good story in the media than do what is necessary for long term success.

We can look at Saban and call him a dick but that's what it takes to win.

Not to mention that Miles was leading Bama in the 4th quarter the last two times Bama played in BR. We downgraded Bama-game wise.

All of our athletic programs will go nowhere until Alleva is gone. I struggle to find one bright spot on his resume

His is always outsmarted in coaching negotiations, always takes the path of least resistance, and has made two disastrous coaching searches and subsequent hires. He's the worst AD in the country.

Which would be sweet. We screwed up Fournette, who is a prince of peace. We've been super lucky in that we had Peterson, Mathieu, and Fournette who all were pretty amazing.

The QB is the most important position on the field. The team is as successful as their QB. Miles and Cameron, as you all know, recruited and developed below average QBs. If you don't have a QB, you're not going to win.

What teams this year that will be in the playoffs has a below average QB?

Hurts (meh. He's slightly above average)
Barrett
Watson
Browning

You're not going to change my mind about that.

Your team is as successful as your QB. There's not many instances in the history of football where that's not the case.

Another irony is that people have already forgotten how much lease we gave Miles and how hard he was to get rid of because he "bled purple and gold"

Now people think "hey if it doesn't work out we can just get rid of him in 2-3 years" HAHAHAHAHA you think the good ole boy network will allow that? He will never get fired as long as he wins over 8 games a year. Mediocre.

Yeah the leash grows longer. We need him to frick him badly. Luckily he's a moron so that's likely.

Like Lamar Jackson and one of the coaches this board clamored for half the time in Petrino?

What happened with that today?

How is it not true?

Beginning of this interim thing everyone said "well if he runs the table he's a canidate!"

Then Bama happened. "Well Bama is really good and it was kind of close (bc of Aranda)!! As long as he wins out he's a candidate!"

Then Florida happened. "It's not his fault!!!"

So what was the threshold really for him not getting the job? When would it be his fault?
