If he's chartering all these planes as decoys then he's spent at least 100K today. I don't think smart business been get to be as rich as they by dropping that kind of cash just to frick with random dudes from the internet

It was meant as a joke to go along with all of this crazy s$%) However, you only need to charter 1-2 flights to scare Bama. I would not do that, but for a 4 million dollar increase, over 9 million annual contract? Hell I am actually warming up to the idea. This thread has made me lose my common sense.

Leverage is in the same category as money and hot women- I don't care who you are, you could always use a little more...

Someone please give me the short version. I understand a plane from Austin and Tuscaloosa are going to some city in Florida, but what does Memphis, Louisville and NYC have to do with it?

I swear to god I am thinking of getting my first ever tattoo. I wonder if my wife would mind that across my chest.
Truly inspiring.

Saban was visiting a recruit in small town kentucky near louisville.

Big wigs from UT were in NYC today where they supposedly let Mack Brown go.

Lots of strange coincidences in these flights.

Saban was in Kentucky recruiting today. His agent is from Memphis. Plane leaves Memphis, goes to get Saban in Kentucky...meets another plan from Austin in small town in Florida.

Memphis=Sexton
Louisville=rumored airport near Saban's supposed current recruit trip.
NYC=Rumored location of UT Big Wigs. And a great place to stop for a slice of Pizza on the way to hire your new coach.

Although his comments aren't indicative of him wanting to leave, money talks—and Texas has a lot of it. Alabama's endowment is about $630 million, whereas Texas' is close to $6 billion (h/t AthlonSports.com), so they could pay him handsomely as well as give him a fresh start with minimal pressure
