We wouldn’t be losing anything.

Richard doesn’t like to recruit.

Aranda didn’t like to recruit.

Pelini?

Why some of you want Pelini is incredible. He alienated the majority of Nebraska fans with his childish in game temper tantrums and psycho personality. The guy is a ticking time bomb ready to explode. I wouldn’t want this clown near our team with his divisiveness and holier than thou demeanor.

If O and Canada didn’t hit it off, I don’t see how O and Pelini would co-exist.

And it’s not just personality. I appreciate what Bo did in 2007, but these past thirteen years in college football have been an eternity of offensive evolution. In this age of spread/RPO, Pelini is a dinosaur.

Hard pass on Bo.

It’s not like the guy has been out of the game. He isn’t an ancient coach. Only 9 years older then aranda. 23rd ranked fcs defense.
Don’t know if he is best but even the fcs has innovative offenses and in some cases even more innovative then some fbs schools.

It's a big difference between DC and Head Coach. He was hardly in front of press as LSU'S DC. Many of us thought he wouldn't make a very good head coach when he left but he was very good as a DC. They are different roles. They don't necessarily translate. Don't confuse one role for another

I'd like to see considered David Reeves DC of UAB, Kris Richard, and I believe for the upgrade in $$$ Leonard from Wisky would come also because Wisky isn't going anywhere and the talent is much better at LSU plus the strength of schedule would put him in the media more than he is now especially if he's successful which he should be.

I'm just glad that we don't see a name like Malveto in the DC mix.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Pelini at LSU is as dated as the phrase.

Pelini rode Saban/muschamp’s coattails for two years after they retired. By the third year we were dropping off a ton. That 07 team had some terrible defensive performances, especially against Kentucky and Arkansas.

Then in 08 we were atrocious with Malveto, and I think pelini deserves a lot of the blame for that. Basically that was the defense he had built. Do not want

Pelini coached in a league where ground and pound was still the norm. No one scored that many points a game.

His last year we were #19 in total defense. A severe drop from the first two. Scheme matters but so does recruiting and talent development. I think there’s a lot of purple and gold glasses with pelini.

The fact that you use PPG from 2005-07 SEC offensive play to compare Aranda to Pelini says a lot more about your understating of football than it does mine
