Has anyone mentioned Bud Foster? I’m assuming he’s retired, but good defensive play caller at VT forever, and coached like every defensive position. Has anyone heard his name mentioned in connection with any program?

Never heard anything about him since he retired. Maybe give Orgeron a message about him.

For DC absolutely not, but on the shadow staff absolutely. Let him be assigned to Corey Raymond and teach him the Sunday to Friday aspects of game planning, practice, etc of being a d coordinator. Much like O uses John Robinson why bot have something similar for the OC and DC

Dont know what he is doing but I was at Murray State when he was playing. I am 62... so I would not put him in the youth category.

I know a guy that talks with Bud every now and again. From what he has told me, Bud is done with coaching for good and is loving retirement. Not that this is surprising info at all.
