Pretty obvious- O is a CEO head coach. You dont let your stud DC go to your division rival.
Too much upheaval for a questionable hire. Until O wins something, he will have this burden to carry.

TexAgs has pretty much said all along that we aren’t making our new hire the highest paid in the nation.
I think we can all agree Aranda doesn’t leave LSU for A&M while taking a pay cut.
I honestly don’t believe we ever really kicked the tires with Aranda that much. Too much to buy him out when you could pursue other elite DCs for far less.
