Not to discredit TBL, but a few days ago he was saying Canada was all but gone and that Sark would be here as early as today or tomorrow. Now we’re all wondering if Canada is leaving at all.

If Aranda is poached and they run Canada off, I don't see how anyone survives. O is just a figurehead of a coach whether he wants to admit it to himself or not.
I just don't see this administration getting another Aranda type hire with O as the coach.

none of this discredits TBL. speculation on this board is just that, and the reports of Canada leaving after the bowl remain. If Canada is still here next week, then you'd have a point.

That rings true to my ears. Look, I was livid when Joe The Search botched the hire. Not an O fan. Never will understand how O got the interim job over Aranda. HOWEVER... TO DATE... I think Orgeron has done OK. If you told me, today, that my 2 choices for head coach were Orgeron or Aranda, no-brainer for me. But I don't like this backstabbing shite and even though Alleva screwed the pooch in hiring O ... I think LSU has to back his play. (And BTW, if I were king for a day, no pun intended, Alleva would be gone. He's incompetent.)

If true just burn it down now and start over. I'd rather it be now and get it over with than having to watch this program slowly burn to rock bottom over the next few years.

After interview I saw today with Canada I think he is gone. He said I am lucky man kids great wife and football coach nothing about I coach at LSU. Just the way I read between the lines
