What is the Coppermind and Time Machine?
https://coppermind.net/
So the Coppermind is the primary wiki for Brandon Sanderson's works. A coppermind is a reference from the Mistborn novels which is an item that can store memories. Besides the books and novellas, alot of the lore/info of the Cosmere (Sanderson's shared universe) comes from "Words of Brandon" (WOBs).
WOBs are when Brandon answers questions at conventions, book signings, on stream about characters, plot, magic systems, etc. Though he always reserves the right to change things if needed when he writes the books which is the ultimate canon. The Coppermind has most of the WOBs including lore from the books etc and how they are related.
The time machine feature on the Coppermind, lets you set the wiki to a certain point in time.
For example, lets you say you are about to read Rhythm of War but wanted refresher of what's going on etc. You can use the Time Machine to set the Coppermind wiki to right before the publication of Rhythm of War.
Then the Coppermind only shows info before the Rhythm of War without showing spoilers. If you don't read in publication order, then this might not stop you from getting spoiled.

Thanks
Going to start using that as soon as I finish Well of Ascension. I'm 3/4 of the way so far.
Really love this story. Not a complaint but this one dragged a little bit in the middle. Elend and Vic havefrustrated me a little just because they have basically stopped talking to each other and it's clearly detrimental. Don't know why Vic is listening to Zane, she should know better.
Sazed and OreSeur are probably my two favorite characters so far. I freaking love OreSeur.

WoA drags hard in the middle. Picks up towards the end and HOA is pretty much all gas no brakes.

Is that Adolin? If so, could that be some sort of clue that he figures out a way to "resurrect" his spren?

Pretty sure that's Dalinar

Yeah I think it is Dalinar as well especially since the person is holding a book

Yeah, the book would make sense, but Dalinar is dark-haired (possibly graying). Adolin is the only primary character I can think of who has blonde hair (and dresses well). I think what makes it stick in my head (aside from the hair color) is I just got through re-reading a flashback to where Dalinar runs into a young Adolin in the castle (as Dalinar was looking for liquor) and he begins to wonder if Adolin is a fop (because of the outfit he's wearing, which seems like it could be similar to the one the character on the cover is wearing).

Adolin isn't close to that white though, he is darker, mixed ethnicity
I assume that is supposed to be Dalinar, but you are right the hair does appear slightly off for Dalinar
It really wouldn't make any sense I can think of for Adolin to be on the cover, holding a book

I don't know that Adolin's skin tone has ever really been described. Alethi are a bit of a combination of ME tone with a mixture of Asian and European facial structures while the Iriali (Adolin's mother, Evi) seem to be the stereotypes Nordic (slim, light skin, blonde/white-gold hair).
Such a combination could give Adolin a lighter tone than the average Alethi, but I agree making it as light as the character on the cover would be a stretch. Maybe the book is about current fashion?
Found this while poking around the interwebz...

From Dragonsteel Books:
Also,
My wife just read this part for the first time last week and I heard her in the next room say "Yeeesssss! About time you fricker!"

Now that Wind and Truth is completed, Whelan’s journey with the series—and possibly his career—has come full circle. The cover features Dalinar in a grand, iconic pose that captures the essence of his character, bringing the first arc to a visually stunning conclusion.

I love that scene so much. Feels like it makes up for the “and for my boon” cringiness

I think its just the artist making the choice and them kind of just letting it go.
This happens a lot, on the Wheel of Time covers there were tons of inaccuracies

It was a bit of a stretch for Kaladin to jump out and screw the plan with his own need for revenge, but the subsequent imprisonment not only made Dalinar's punking of Amaran that much sweeter (from both the standpoint of seeing Amaran fall as well as seeing Kaladin finally getting some justice), it created a fantastic platform for displaying Adolin's true character to not only the reader, but to Kaladin as well. That combined with Dalinar's actions helped start to reverse Kaladin's lumping of all light-eyes into the same group.
In other words, I don't think the payoff would have been nearly as good without the boon fiasco.

Add in Kaladin losing Syl here as well. One more way he "betrayed his oaths".

“Honor is dead. But I’ll see what I can do.”
Probably my favorite quote in my favorite scene of any fiction book I’ve ever read .

It is so cheesy it shouldn't work as well as it does. Such a bad arse moment though.

Over halfway through The Hero of Ages now. TenSoon is definitely my favorite character. Man he is awesome. Sazed was another favorite of mine but he has sulked through the entire 3rd book and I'm ready for him to get it back together. Losing his religion(s)/faith is not a good thing for him. I need the old Sazed back.
I can't get the coppermind/time machine to work right for some reason. I was a little hazy on the OreSuer/TenSoon killing. Just was struggling to wrap my head around when it all went down and why TenSoon was willing to turn on Zane. He hadn't technically been with Vin all that long and didn't really have the attachment that Vin and Oresuer had.
