Sooo... this is OK, but the commercial about veterans and the anthem is not?

"The Truth" is just an angle, I guess this is the NY Times trying to buy some credibility.

The NFL approves this but not the Veterans ad encouraging people to stand for the National Anthem? Somethings fricky.

Not to discredit CTE and its effects, but shouldn't a widely circulated newspaper like the NY Times be hanging their hat on something bigger and more pertinent to it's readers?

Why not acknowledge possible damage and make just make them sign a damn waiver and be done with it? People die on the track in racing, people get limbs blown off for a lot less in the military (I know, necessity not sport). Just saying, you want millions of dollars or not?

I’ll repeat what was already stated below.....the NFL approves a commercial that directly attacks the NFL on a subject that could bankrupt it. But let a group of veterans put together a commercial encouraging people to stand for the national anthem.....The NFL is a f’ing joke. Don’t watch it.

How to avoid CTE? Don't use your helmet as a battering ram every time you tackle.
