According to ESPN current free agent WR Terrell Owens has had surgery in the past month to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees due to an off season injury.
quote:

One source said Owens was hurt while on site taping a television show for VH1.
Another source said Owens tore the ACL during a personal workout but other sources could not confirm the cause of injury. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, also was unavailable for comment Sunday evening. His brother and partner in the agent business, Jason Rosenhaus, said, "I don't like to deny stories or confirm or deny anything. It's really something for Drew (to address)."
They're saying with intensive rehab he conceivably could return within six months, or around mid-to-late November, in a best-case scenario. Sounds like he won't be signing with anyone.

Who is this guy? He seems to be the main one to get headline links posted.

Time for TO to retire and stick with doing VH1 full-time.

Why? Cause he tore an ACL? The guy just came off a great season. Nearly 1000 yards with Carson Palmer as a QB is pretty hard to do.

cause he'll be 38 this year and having major knee surgery is hard to come back from.....especially for a WR. If anyone can do it, I'm sure T.O. can, but it will be difficult.

He may be a douche but you can't question his toughness.
