These forced PR apologies are so tiresome. We don’t give a frick about you, or that your sorry. We would’ve fogotten all about the incident if not for this cringe-inducing apology.

I’m good with it. He owned it. Too often we criticize people for not apologizing for their stupidity. He did. And now people are saying screw him. Screw him for other things. But he owned his behavior and didn’t make any excuses. Move along.

He blamed it on mental health. It’s an easy out. He’s just an angry drunk and flew off the handle big time.

Mouth - that's pretty shortsighted of you to claim, not knowing the person. You very well may be right, he may just be an angry drunk. But often times, substance abuse happens in individuals with real problems as a way to deal with said problems. And it is very prevalent in people with mental illness. I know this first hand. It's a sad situation all around, and I hope he figures it out before his issues figure it out for him.

Dude has a Stanford degree... in communications no less, and you think he can't write his own statement? Man, y'all be reaching.

Every person with money and influence has someone write their press statements. He can but he more than likely didn’t.

"Dude has a Stanford degree... in communications no less, and you think he can't write his own statement?"... Les Mile has a degree from Michigan, and can't speak a coherent sentence. College degrees, while certainly impressive to have, only means he passed enough tests. The dumbest guy I ever worked with had a Harvard engineering and Harvard JD degree. But he was an idiot.

He forgot to thank his father in law for not cutting him in half with both barrels.

I'm sure his father in law isn't dumb enough to shoot off the hands that feed them.
