"We are not commenting at this time," said Greg Aiello, the NFL's senior vice president of communications.

Troy Vincent, the league's senior executive vice president of football operations, said earlier Tuesday that the NFL expected to wrap up its investigation in "two or three days."

Yet to be determined is what, if any, penalties may be imposed upon Patriots. One source described the league as "disappointed ... angry ... distraught," after spending considerable time on the findings earlier Tuesday.
According to NFL rules, the footballs are required be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

theBru,I agree with you. What's good for the goose should be good for the gander, but I doubt anything will come of this. Second time New England has been caught doing shady things before or during games that I can recall. The NFL is really getting hard to enjoy these days.

Let's see, belicheater banned for at least one year, brady suspended for 8 games, OC dismissed from team...yep, about sums up what basically happened to the Saints for "Alleged" misdeeds...here we have proof, and I bet that none of the above will ever be mentioned or contemplated...sad situation in the nfl...

Seems like the penalties need to be stiffer than last time. Kraft is running a program that's already done proved they will cheat to win. Apparently the loss of draft picks didn't faze them. Habitual offender are the words that spring to mind.
