Not a Dallas fan or a Dalton fan, but I am interested in seeing him play with some actual weapons.

He had weapons with the Bengals back 5 or 6 years ago and choked in every playoff game. He will only hold a clipboard if Dallas is lucky.

Drew Bledsoe signed with the Cowboys because the Patriots went with a younger QB and that turned out pretty well. Does the Dallas signing fulfill another part of the fateful prophecy of Joe’s success? Gotta run - Curse of Oak Island is coming on!

Surprise move! Dallas gets a great backup and Dalton essentially comes home!

Baw threw for 3500 yds last season and has averaged 3500 over 9 seasons. With La'el protecting him he may do more if he can get that INT thing under control.

I hate the Cowboys, but this is a great pickup for them. Dalton is now the best back-up in the league.

Can't wait to hear the spin on this deal from the talking heads considering they haven't locked Dak up long term.

Even better insurance policy then. If Dak signs, 3 million guaranteed and 7 million total is not a bad paycheck for a year of holding a clipboard. Backup NFL QB has to be one of the best jobs in the world. Especially those Detmer types who parlayed lower tier NFL talent into pretty solid NFL careers as a regular backup.
