A bit early to talk about? Maybe. But it looks like the Colts will probably get the #1 pick in the 2012 NFL draft. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that with that pick they are looking to get Standford's QB Andrew Luck. Schefter said...
quote:

“There will be some twists and turns to it, and eventually Matt Barkley’s name might enter the conversation,” wrote Schefter. ”But when the Colts are on the clock — and they will be on the clock the day the season ends — Luck can start looking to buy a new house in Indianapolis. The Colts are expected to hand off their franchise from Peyton Manning to Luck. Amazing.”
If this season is any evidence, teams need solid #2 QBs even if they aren't one day going to take over a franchise.
