In a recent interview with 790 The Zone in Atlanta, Tom Martinez, Tom Brady's personal QB coach since he was a kid, gave his thoughts on Tim Tebow. Martinez said...
quote:

“I think Tim Tebow is willing to do anything that people tell him to do,” Martinez said. “He’s like Brady in the sense that he’s an internal warrior. I think when he started in the NFL, whoever they put him with, I personally kind of disagree with the mechanics he was given. He’s trying to prove the same thing Brady was trying to prove. I could give him what I call correct mechanics in two weeks.”

Then do it, coach.

I'd love to see Tim succeed, but I'm not sure that he's a true QB.

Maybe Tebow should listen. His physical capabilites are good.BUT he's gotta stop running if he wants to survive.Remember Steve Young? Concussion city, and he didn't even start that long.

That's not the problem. You can't practice good mechanics all you want, under pressure situations people revert to what they've grooved for years.
