NFL: Bears GM Angelo Fired, Martz Resigns

And the GM and coach vacancies keep piling up. The Chicago Bears have fired their GM Jerry Angelo Tuesday. The team also announced that coach Lovie Smith with remain as head coach, but said offensive coordinator Mike Martz and quarterbacks coach Shane Day will not return. A news conference is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET.
