Hamilton Tiger-Cats & Johnny Manziel Don't Reach Contract Agreement By Deadline
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Johnny Football's comeback has hit a little speed bump. The CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats and QB Johnny Manziel have failed to reach an agreement by the deadline of January 31st...
quote:

According to TSN’s Farhan Lalji, Hamilton offered Manziel a contract in the range of $150,000 with some minor incentives earlier this month, but Manziel’s camp was looking for an offer in the range of $500,000.

Lalji notes the gap between the two sides may have closed over the past few weeks, but Manziel is believed to be looking for starter’s money.
However...

Lalji adds that the Ticats are not feeling any pressure to strike a deal of this magnitude with Manziel, but the team continues to be optimistic that Johnny Football will be a member of the Tiger-Cats for the 2018 season. However, coming to terms on a contract might take right up until training camp.
Oh Canada, you're leaniant. Anywho, here he is trying to prove to everyone he's taking this seriously...

Manziel is an idiot. Take any chance you get on a one year deal. If you do well then cash in. This guy hasn’t proven he can stay clean for 5 minutes yet.

And, Ken Shamrock said he was going to do a little cardio in preparation for Tito Ortiz.....and then summarily got his head bashed in. Johnny Football is a joke and his comedy act is quickly fading away.

He’s independently wealthy (his family has bucks). He’ll be fine, financially speaking.

this is getting alot of play up here and most people of are the opinion not to sign him.he wants large $$ and there usually a steep learning curve for most 1st time QB's to earn the nuance's of the CFL.I would try to sign him we all saw he can be very dynamic if he is up to it.that is the big ??

Now we know why Larry can't make it as a REAL journalist, he has trouble with spelling. It's spelled LENIENT, Larry. For God's sake, use a spell checker or a word processor and cut/paste before posting.
