David Macina, a Saints season ticket holder, filed the class action suit in U.S. District Court yesterday seeking $5 million in damages.
quote:

The lawsuit contends that Mancina and other season ticket holders “purchased their tickets with the representation, and expectation, from the Commissioner and the League that the Saints would be capable of competitively fielding a contending team comprised of the finest athletes, and the best coaches, under contract with the New Orleans Saints, or available to them through normal trades and draft choices, without dictatorial, unreasonable, vindictive, and unfounded, interference from the Commissioner and the League, devoid of due process.”

The judge will very quickly reach a GTFO ruling.

Too many lawsuits over stupid things. Guess Colta fans should do the same thing since they don't have a contending team. Would love to see fines for lawsuits deemed a waste of time. Might actually prevent some of these people from trying to make an unearned dollar in court.

It costs money for them to file in the first place so consider that the "fine"

Not big enough if they will still waste so much time.

I was thinking a month ago about filing one against LSU for scheduling Towson.

Then we played them. I should file it against the team for impersonating.
