Former New Orleans Saints and University of Georgia defensive end Charles Grant has been fired from his volunteer linebackers coaching job at Division II Bowie State after he was caught on video body slamming a student athlete. Grant, 6'3" and 285 lbs, won a Super Bowl with the Saints in 2009.

not sure why he got fired. if someone puts their hands on you, you have a green light to defend yourself. hell, if someone makes a threat, verbally or physically, you can defend yourself. must be because its a school setting, etc.
