What an overreaction. Whether Texas Tech won by 23 or 25, it doesn’t change anything. It was probably the backups that rarely get to play wanting in on the action.

The new NET rankings reward blowouts more than close wins. The players are just playing to the new rules of the game. Just like football has changed from wins are wins, the "eye test" is more important than sportsmanship.
