Rex Ryan Rips Into Big 10’s Best Teams On ESPN
by Larry LeoNovember 12, 2019

© Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
ESPN NFL analyst Rex Ryan is not a fan of Big 10. On Monday morning, he shared his thoughts on why no Big 10 teams should be considered for College Football Playoff...
quote:(The Spun)
“100 percent Alabama should be in it,” Ryan said on Monday morning. “LSU, Clemson and Alabama are the three best teams. Don’t ever put Penn State ahead of Clemson, for the love of God. And the guys from Minnesota, row your boat down there to Clemson and get beat by 40. Stop it already.
“Put Ohio State in there and they’ll get beat by 37 like they did last time they played Clemson. The three best teams, let’s not ruin it.”

I read "Rex Ryan is not a fan of Big 10" and thought he had a bad experience at a tire store.

He wants Minnesota to go down to South Carolina? How about Clemson going up to the Twin Cities to play in the snow?

Clemson would beat Minnesota like a drum in any environment. He’s right. There is no comparison. Cute little story this year but no comparison between the 2 teams.

It was the first determination by the committee. Rex acts like it is the final. He still has a foot in his mouth. There are still games to be played. Let's wait and see.

Not meaningless because had LSU lost to Alabama, LSU would be OUT of the Playoff conversation. Alabama on the other hand, as a one loss team, is IN, almost certainly IN the Playoffs. Not just in the conversation, but, in the Playoffs. That's the power of the Alabama/Saban brand.
