A fan ran onto the field near the end of the first half of the Ohio State vs Cincinnati game. Buckeyes' strength coach Anthony Schlegel decided to take the matter into his own hands and absolutely destroys him with a very aggressive body slam. Can you say dislocated shoulder?

By the way, Schlegel is a former Buckeye linebacker from 2004-05.

If he hadn't been on the field, he wouldn't have been body slammed. Simple as that.

The arm was dislocated prior to him entering the field. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

Good for the coach. Idiot was on the field with players. Coach was protecting the players (physically and legally).

"Anthony, is a real punk for slamming this fan on the ground. People lighten up..hell, cheer the fan on ,it only last a second, and right at half ...real Punk, its not his place to touch any fan, anywhere! If he dislocated his shoulder.u can believe legal action is on its way!"

It was not at the half. There was an effing play in progress when it happened Hoss.

Bet that cures any fan-running-on-the-field problem that might have been developing there.

Pressing charges/suing is likely to hit a dead end. The coach can credibly argue, especially nowadays, that he was ensuring this kid wasn't going to attack or even kill a player. Strong force would be indicated, especially if he had no way of knowing if the kid had a weapon in his waistband. He didn't use unreasonable force, considering the fact that the kid was running and trying to avoid being subdued.

"I would press charges against OSU if that were my kid."

And your kids would probably be just the sort that would do stupid things like that.

If that was my kid I would make him write an apology to the university for being a dumbass.

If I was that coach I get that picture blown up and framed above my bed.

Instead of pressing charges against the school, why wouldn't you teach you kid to stay out of places where he is not suppose to be. The kid is undisciplined and the parent sues the other party.

You can tell he's got a dislocated shoulder. Look at the way he can't straighten his arm as he's being pulled off the field.
