Ohio State Report Reveals Team Doctor Sexually Abused At Least 177 Men
© Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Ohio State released an investigative report on Friday that has revealed a former team doctor sexually abused at least 177 men between 1979-1997. Dr. Richard Strauss, who committed suicide back in 2005, allegedly “groped or ogled” men from 16 of the school’s different sports teams while working at the student health center. Ohio State’s president Michael Drake issued a statement on the school’s website...
quote:

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

In April 2018, the university announced an independent investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against Dr. Richard Strauss, who was employed by Ohio State from 1978 to 1998. Strauss died in 2005.

We established and announced the independent investigation after allegations were brought to the university’s attention last spring. The independent investigation is now complete.

The findings are shocking and painful to comprehend.

On behalf of the university, we offer our profound regret and sincere apologies to each person who endured Strauss’ abuse. Our institution’s fundamental failure at the time to prevent this abuse was unacceptable — as were the inadequate efforts to thoroughly investigate complaints raised by students and staff members.

I had a doc give me a pre football physical in 5th grade with plenty of coaches around. The only thing that I felt violated about is that he said I had fat balls.

How do you sexually abuse male college athletes? Not making a point, I’m just really curious how that’s even possible.

How about a male doctor groping a straight male's junk for no reason? Quit with the ignorant frat boy mentality.

I wasn't being cute... I meant what I said... it is fact... And I'm sorry, I did not need it spelled out for me, I have enough common sense to figure out how a dr would/could sexually abuse a man.
