Memphis Releases Statement Begging Fans To Not Freak Out After Being Left Out Of Big 12

The Big 12 announced that they're extending invitations to BYU, Central Florida, Cincinnati, and Houston on Friday morning. Who's not on that list is Memphis. So, they had to release a statement later in the later the day to basically beg their fans not to freak out about that... Should Memphis be invited?

At this point, I think Memphis should shift their focus to the ACC and hope for expansion there. Good basketball conference and average football...that's what Memphis is. And the ACC could expand their footprint a little westward.
