Lawsuit Accuses Michigan State Football Of Filming Opponent’s Practice
Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports
Former Michigan State staffer Curtis Blackwell, who served as the recruiting coordinator from 2013 until his dismissal in 2017, is on a mission to destroy the Spartans program. He has already sued former head coach Mark Dantonio for wrongful termination and is now adding a lawsuit for racial discrimination, breach of contract, and other allegations in Michigan state court. In a bold move, Blackwell is citing the school’s Larry Nassar scandal in his racial discrimination allegation. Per the report, he compares his treatment—a quick dismissal—to that of Nassar, a white man who it took years for the program to begin an investigation of, even after numerous accusations. Blackwell says that he was the only coach not cleared in the sexual assault situation, and believes he’s been treated as a “fall guy” for the situation. One of the most interesting bits of this new lawsuit alleges other misconduct against Dantonio, including that he was told to record other teams’ practices while employed by the longtime Spartans coach.

Damn. He pulled the race card, fall guy card, wrongful termination card, etc. It's too bad Dantonio took his man card, or he would have had a full boat
