Jon Gruden Says Urban Meyer Did 'Greatest coaching job of all time'
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports
ESPN analyst Jon Gruden was on Colin Cowherd’s radio show on Thursday where he praised Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer by saying he completed the “greatest coaching job of all time” this past season...
quote:

“Maybe the best coach in the SEC went to the Big Ten,” Gruden said. “Urban Meyer did the greatest coaching job of all time. Winning a national championship with his third-string quarterback, I’ve never seen that before. … I’ve always respected him. Won two national titles at Florida.

“What he did at Ohio State, losing a Heisman Trophy candidate and then doing what he did with two different quarterbacks that were backups. Amazing to me.”
Hmm...Do you agree with this?

I think it is very hard to compare things like this, but with that being said he would be up there in the argument. He had to coach kids into still believing in his plan regardless of the walls that were put in front of them. Plus he also re-molded his game plan 3 different times. Pretty damn amazing.

Maybe not greatest of all time ... It's difficult to make that statement. But he should've won coach of the year.
