Here Was Kansas Basketball Coach Bill Self's Response To Les Miles Hire

Kansas basketball head coach Bill Self seems pretty excited about Les Miles being hired as the Jayhawks new head coach. Per KUSports.com...

“Les’ credentials are off the chart,” Self said.

“This guy is competing with Alabama each and every year for the right to play for an SEC Championship,” KU’s basketball coach recalled of Miles’ time at LSU, when the Tigers played in two national-title games, as well as the Sugar Bowl and Cotton Bowl, as Miles accumulated a 7-4 postseason record.

“I think that is terrific. He’s brought home the gold before,” Self added, again referencing LSU’s national title, “and there’s not too many guys out there, recruits, that get a chance to play for a national championship coach that are presently coaching.”

The question is “How committed is Kansas towards football” . Just hiring a name coach and that is all is not commitment

Bill Snyder was able get players to come to Manhattan KS and produce consistent 8-9 win teams, and he's no where the kind of recruiter that Les Miles is. Les can them to that same level by just recruiting good athletes, especially in the Big 12, and KU will be ecstatic.

Incoming Mile's hate in 3...2....1... All of these so called LSU fans who think O is such an incredible upgrade and Miles is a terrible coach didn't live through what really bad times were in LSU football.
