Deion Sanders’ Son, Shedeur, Signs Historic NIL Deal
© Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
According to Front Office Sports, Deion Sanders’ son, Jackson State QB Shedeur Sanders, 19, has signed a multi-year contract with Gatorade that aims to “drive national exposure of HBCU programs and athletes.” This makes him only the second collegiate athlete to sign an NIL deal with Gatorade, the other being UCONN women’s basketball superstar Paige Bueckers.

The term "HBCU" is entirely racist! What if someone called LSU and all the teams in the SEC "HWCU's"?? The media would have an immediate thermal nuclear meltdown. And what happened in Portland, Chicago, and Washington D.C. a couple of years ago would look like a Sunday School picnic!

Too much discussion about the HBCu thing. Not enough information about how many children Deion named after dairy products

Wait...didn't Trump point a light at hbcu's? I wonder if that'll be mentioned in any of the advertisements. Are they going to attract more honkeys to the schools or will they put a quota of how many are allowed in?

Pepsi does a lot with Jackson State, hence this deal. It is a one off because of the relationship Pepsi has with Deion.

How many of these guys after the money are going to implode because of it? And miss out on the NFL?

Rattler, Uiagalelei and D’Erick King at Miami are all pretty good examples of players that have not lived up to NIL hype once they got paid. There will be more.

Unbelievable! This needs to stop. All of it. Go back to paying players under the table, like God intended.

Rich kid from rich family becomes the spokesperson for mega Corp to shed light on HBCUs. A complete all around joke. As if we need to shine more light on ANY college.
