Cris Carter Shares Disturbing Details About Urban Meyer's Condtion Forcing Him To Retire
© Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports
Former Ohio State WR and close friend of Urban Meyer, Cris Carter, went into detail describing the health issue that is forcing the Buckeyes coach into retirement...

quote:

“Urban’s a very, very close friend of mine…. His biggest problem is he wants to coach, but physically he can’t coach. He can’t do this anymore.

I think it’s been well-documented, as far as the cyst on his brain. When he gets agitated, upset… when he gets in coaching mode, it becomes very to almost impossible for him to coach because the cyst begins to leak fluid, which leads to – not a migraine headache, but a splitting headache.

When we saw him double over on the sideline, that was not because of anything else but the cyst and it rupturing. There’s a few things potentially that he could do, he could rest…. The second one is to have a procedure done where they could relieve the pressure [from] the procedure he had done a couple of years ago, but you’re opening up the brain – and that’s not coming with a great deal of encouragement by the specialist who is working on him.

And the third thing is what we saw today, was Urban Meyer resigning as the coach at Ohio State.”

“I refused to go to the Michigan game. I went to the Big Ten Championship, and that’s because Urban wanted me there. I thought something else was going to happen on the sideline before we were able to get to this day. Urban Meyer, he really can’t coach. He shouldn’t be coaching, and I would argue that he shouldn’t have been coaching the last month.”

This is a joke right?

I didn't realize that being an insufferable douchebag with no moral compass was a medical condition.

As a rocket surgeon that explanation if tucking BS. Cysts don't leak because your agitated.

Urban said he was retiring so he could spend more time following his true passion...covering up domestic violence.

That’s sad. A health issue that severe. He may want to continue coaching, but he has to focus on quality of life at this point

So why the big uproar over him being placed on administrative leave? Sounds like the dude should be getting treatment and relaxing.

Think of the cyst as a little gremlin. Every time CUM Is happy, the little gremlin shits, Causing CUM great pain. The shite has piled up, leaving CUM an incurable shithead.

If he doesn't report the cyst is it still as problem?

He left Florida because of 'health' issues. A year later, Hernandez gets indicted for murder, and it come out he was getting away with all sorts of shite at UF. Now, a couple months after it is revealed Meyer knew all about an assistant coach beating his wife, he has another 'health' issue. Wonder what's going to emerge in a year's time?

I would have a headache too after dealing with the crap he brought on himself this year... Both Meyer and CC are proven liars who have teamed up. I watched some of the press conference yesterday (made me want to puke) a lot of the questions were developing the narrative and leading CUM into this "pitty" story. CUM is a weasel and this is just one POS trying to help his POS friend out by supporting the narrative.

And I refuse to listen to CC spew any kind of gibberish regarding a cyst on the brain... or any other medical condition. I don't care if CUM does have a cyst on the brain, CC is not credible enough to speak on the matter. When CUM's neurologist from the hospital he frequents comes out and explains what is going on in CUM's head, I will listen.

Right, and before someone calls you an insensitive jerk why have I never heard of this condition ever before or where are all the people struggling with it?

Would you rather have integrity or a cyst?? He chose the cyst.

There is a lot of doctors on this site. Urban should consult some of you for treatment.

He should. I would suggest “therapeutic decapitation”.

Zach Boren was captain of the 2012 undefeated Ohio State team. He remains close to Meyer and his family. Yesterday Boren said that Meyer was unable to blow a whistle in practice... too painful.

FOX showed him blowing his whistle repeatedly with his team huddled around him before the Michigan game. So he's fine minutes before "The Game", but in too much pain at practice with the Rose Bowl a month away? I guess I still don't understand what agitates this cyst.

He looks pretty happy and energetic when they are winning.

yep. Everyone knows the cyst is just a convenient excuse. His retirement was decided at the beginning of the season, with the Zach Smith issue.

Not saying the cyst is real or not, but the explanation is that when agitated it becomes a big deal. If he's winning then the explanation would hold and he would be fine. Losing and tough times would make it worse. No team is perfect (at least not for long) so he would always have problems at some point.
