Not only has new Texas head coach Charlie Strong banned his players from using the “hook‘em horns” hand gesture, he has also taken the Longhorns logo off every player's helmet. Why you may ask?...

He's gonna do well there, I believe.

What he should do is take away the cellphones and the distractions. Bus them out in the middle of nowhere for a week and work 'em some more.

Yeah, and I remember Ole Curley Hallman cracked down on LSU players when he first arrived in Baton Rouge. No ear rings. etc.

How did that work out?? Remember? What bull shite.

Big deal, Like it's not going to be there opening game... Now if he did hold it back and REALLY make each player earn it , that would mean something.

Strong is a good coach and Texas will emerge again soon. Baylor, TCU, etc. will take a hit in the coming years IMO. And Bobby Stoops will re-earn his old "Big Game" nickname once Strong gets his plan in place in Austin.
