Yeah, A disease that kills randomly, while showing no symptoms in others, is something that people get on purpose.

We are all going to catch it. Why not do it on your own terms?

It doesn’t kill randomly. It disproportionately kills the extremely elderly and extremely immune compromised. It is a somewhat risk (low) to people over 65 and others with underlying health conditions. It is almost no risk to healthy young folks.

Yep. and some of those healthy young folks are killed randomly.

It is funny, though, how the three outbreaks we read about are by three hypercompetitive programs that have all won the past three national championships.

I like it. Treat it like Chicken Pox used to be treated. Have Covid parties. Get it, get over it in a couple weeks and carry on with your life.

There is no proof that you can't get COVID twice. There are actual documented cases that people have gotten infected more than once.

Pretty sure you are talking about false positives on people who already recovered.

You can test positive more than once.

Correct me if I am wrong, but once you test positive, you figure out if you are asymptomatic... are there any cases of someone testing pos asymptomatic and then testing pos again and having symptoms?

Dumb statement and not proven true. To many scientific case studIes needing to be done before a local TD poster makes me a believer.

I could help but chortle to myself when they used the word "sick" when referring to players getting COVID. The word "sick" implies the players with positive tests are actually experiencing COVID symptoms, which is likely very rare for healthy college-aged kids.

oh no. He said they are healthy and they will get through it. I thought this virus cannot make anyone sick and if they get sick, that's it. You are done for life. Why does he say something with common sense that is true? He is a bad person

They’re so jelly. Assuming this is true why wouldn’t every team do this? It’s not just sec, it’s teams that want to be competitive.

...which has really only been Clemson recently, so they are not too far off with their list.

This has proven to be effective for entire countries, why can't it work for a football team that is essentially isolated as it is... they typically only hang around with each other and go back and forth between the practice facilities, the dining hall, and home all day every day.
