Well to bad to tell you....it's ruined, as it's going to be impossible to put this NIL/Transfer Portal combo back in the bag. Calls of racism, etc will be loud if they try. Only solution I can see is if there are schools that want to be more like the NFLs minor leagues to break off from the NCAA. Then the NCAA can stick to having amateur athletes that will need to be happy with free education, and free food and housing. Of course it won't be the big major programs, which can just come out as the NFLs minor league officially, and much like DIVII/III level talent. There will be a lot of traditional CFB fans that will get their fix from that level of talent. Just wish there was a way to do it without having the likes of ESPN get involved, as they have assisted in ruining the game.

Just wait until some of these players get sued by their NIL Sponsor if they take money and then transfer to another school which can be construed as a breach of contract and the Sponsor wants his money back. Just watch.

The money piled in from NIL and gambling will corrupt the game. It's kind of funny and ironic the Archie and the Manning boys endorse betting on sports and then Archie saya he "loves the game of college football and I don't want it ruined." You can't have it both ways, Mr. "I'll take that Ceaser's Sportbook Money" Manning.... Just take your "ruining" money and hush.

This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.

The only reason the NCAA ever made it against the rules for athletes to get any type of money is because they would then be more than "student athletes" and if they didn't have that identification they would be employees of the university which means that if a player got seriously injured the university would have to pay for their medical expenses, so it was against the rules in order to protect the universities. But the more and more money involved with college athletics, especially football and basketball, there are a lot of people who have a lot to gain while the players wasn't getting anything close to what they are worth. Without those players no one would be able to profit. I think the best way to solve all of this is for the university to pay players (scholarship only players). Freshman get $20k for year one, redshirt gets $10k. Sophomores get $30k, Juniors get $40 and seniors $50k. It can't be an all or nothing result.

The NCAA screwed up when they didn't allow FULL scholarships to cover the FULL cost of attendance. My wife was on full scholarship and an All-American yet she had to take out a loan that we spent 5 years paying off. Then you have the non-revenue coaches who started out at the state of Florida mandated 18k/yr. Except for the big 3 college sports with NIL (coupled with scholarships), the coaches at times can be making less than the athletes with NIL deals. I love what Rogers did for his OL with a NIL deal at a BBQ joint. Deion is doing a great job illustrating why there needs to be some control. The NCAA needs to be creative and force any cash payments to be put into a "trust fund" released upon graduation/ completion of college eligibility.

He should be more worried about being exposed as average in college. Basically that NIL cash he's gonna be swimming in is going to be his parachute, he should be thrilled about it.

I offer a more peaceful solution, all fans just stop paying to watch a bunch of thugs like Charles Barkley threaten the fans when they don’t like what is said.
