American Top Team, one of the nation's top training academies for MMA fighters which has 44 licensed gyms throughout South Florida and the world, has finalized plans to offer Name, Image, Likeness contracts to every University of Miami scholarship football player.

Each of the 90 existing Miami scholarship players will be offered a $500 a month contract (up to $6000 for a year) to endorse American Top Team through their social media accounts, personal appearances and other marketing vehicles. Unmanageable mess has been created. College football is on a new path. Teams on East and West coast backed by corporations will rule 8n a few years. Nike, Adidas, Sony, Apple, Amazon, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Cadillac, are going to be the power players very soon. They will select the winners through player endorsements. Certain teams will be loaded and they aren’t in the SEC I can guarantee you that.

I think you forget one thing. Top players want to get to the NFL. All 4 and 5 star players think they are NFL bound. They will go where their best chances are. It is not UCLA. It is not Boston College or Maryland. It is the SEC, it is the ACC and it is the Big 10. The can offer endorsements all they want, won't matter if the best coaching is in the SEC and Big 10.

Good luck competing with colleges in cities with a large corporate base. You are about to see shite teams in Houston, Chicago, California and New York start getting all the recruits.

Oregon and Maryland will soon be the top 2 schools in the country. When Nike and Under Armor start paying the top ranked kids to go there they will also pay the top coaches to be there.
