Thank goodness it's not basketball season. On Tuesday, the Jumbotron at George Washington's Charles E. Smith Center fell from the ceiling...

That's terrifying. Glad no one was hurt.

they lowered to do maintenance and one side dropped to the court. Fell from the ceiling is fake news.

Well what did they expect? If it was George Washington’s Jumbotron, that thing’s got to be over 250 years old.

I was about to say, if that really dropped from its usual height the floor would be jacked up.

Statement from GW Twitter account: "The scoreboard was undergoing maintenance today and dropped unexpectedly from its lowered position just above the floor. Nobody was injured (thankfully) and the scene is being assessed for any damage."

I at first thought that thing was well made, falling from the ceiling and not really showing much damage... Makes more sense.

If it ‘fell’ I have no idea how it’s sitting on the corner like that. Just seems like they lowered it for maintenance

If that George Washington jumbotron fell on students, players or staff it should have cost the one bill.
