Shaq Paying For Teen's Funeral Who Accidentally Shot Himself On Instagram Live
Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports
13-year-old Malachi Hemphill accidentally shot himself to death while streaming on Instagram Live this week. On Friday, Shaquille O'Neal visited the Hemphill’s family and offered to cover the boy’s funeral expenses. This video is the news report, not the boy's Instagram video...

Very sad. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Shaq just wants access to the grave so he can look under the earth and prove it's flat.

When I was out in LA years ago, I was at Cheesecake Factory and they were telling me that Shaq would come in and order a dozen wings and have like a $20 tab and tip several hundred. They loved seeing him come in and had to get to the point where they would split his tip because the waiters would argue over who served him.

Shaq is a very good guy, we all know this and have for some time. I know I'll sound like an a-hole, but that kid was stupid for doing this. Trying to show off with a loaded pistol on IG is fricking stupid. His parents should be ashamed too. I guess that's the life the kid wanted to live though, since it's so cool and all. Anyways, good move by Shaq. Sadly, certain cultures portray guns as a form of success and stature, instead of being solely for protection or a way of hunting for food (obviously different gun choice, just saying). Kids die way too young in that culture and I wish it would change. Until the education changes and responsibility is taken, lives will still get taken too early and it's damn sad, regardless of race or where they're from.

I agree with that. 1. Shaq really is a nice guy. 2. Even though it was unfortunate he died, kid was really really dumb for doing this. 3. Whoever that gun belongs too, they are even dumber for making that gun easily available to the kid.
