LeBron James announced on Sunday that he will wear No. 23 again as his jersey number next year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Per ESPN:
quote:

"I'm cool with it,'' Jordan told ESPN.com via text message Monday morning. "I don't own a number.''

Jordan, who now owns the Charlotte Bobcats, wore No. 23 during his legendary playing career. James idolized Jordan growing up and wore No. 23 during his first seven years with the Cavaliers.

But after leaving Cleveland and joining the Miami Heat four years ago, James switched to No. 6, saying it was as a tribute to Jordan. He announced he would change numbers in November of 2009, his last season in Cleveland.

James did not contact Jordan before deciding to return to No 23.

He's doing a good job turning the bobcats around. Don't see what he's sucking at.

i think it's stupid that so many teams have retired #23 in honor of jordan. jordan was a great player, but no one deserves to have their jersey retired by other teams.

I didn't realize Jordans opinion mattered. Get lost you gambling, womanizing pos. At least you were good at basketball because you suck at every other area of life.
