ESPN is reporting that former Denver Nuggets have hired former Sacramento Kings coach Mike Malone to be the teams new coach.

Malone, who went 39-67 over parts of two seasons after the Sacramento Kings hired him following the 2013 season, was the lone candidate to interview twice for the Nuggets.
Malone will replace Melvin Hunt who took over the head coaching job on an interim basis when Brian Shaw was fired in early March.

Former Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni also was a candidate for the position, according to the report.

Amazing how people can be so bad at their job and yet just get recycled to the next one.
