The Brooklyn Nets will lose All-Star center Brook Lopez for the season due to a broken foot. The injury occurred sometime in the second half of Friday nights OT loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, but Lopez played through the injury and finished with 22 points and 7 rebounds.

With high expectations and a slow start to the season, this is exactly the kind of news the Nets didn't need. The Brooklyn Nets are currently 9-17 and 3rd in Atlantic Division.

Lopez is in his 5th year in the NBA and is averaging 31.4 MINPG, 20.7 PPG, 6.0 RPG, and 1.8 BLKPG on the season.
