NASCAR Owner Richard Childress Is Sending A Million Rounds To Ukraine...
© Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports
During an appearance with Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday, former NASCAR driver Richard Childress, owner of Richard Childress Racing, said he’ll be sending one million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine to support their defense against the Russian invasion...
quote:

Childress said he called his friend Fred Wagenhals, chair of Ammo and said, “Fred, we got to help these people. He stepped right up and said he would do it. Now we are turning our production to this as our No. 1 priority.

“We are going to get that ammunition as quick as we can to them,” he added. “We are working with government agencies. To get it there quickly, we are working through a private company.”

Wondering what caliber? Seems like that battlefield will have a good amount of 5.45 x 39 scattered around...

And the Ukrainians will just use it on their own people. Good job.

I wonder what that will do to the ammo price speculators?

But he didn't paint his face yellow and blue. He just doesn't care as much as IG "influencers".

Smart move by him. He has a stake in the ammo company and shouted out their stock symbol and let people know that they were a publicly traded company on his interview with Foxnews

Next time any of you actually believe there is an ammo shortage and it’s not being hoarded by elites for nefarious reasons, remember this shite.

1 million rounds is nothing. A few pallets.

I buy my ammo by 1000 round cases. The box is smaller than a shoe box.

I wonder if he ordered rounds for AK-47 or the M-16 they don't have?

Ukranian forces have been phasing out the AK for the last few years and the 4-WAC-47 (and AK and M4 hybrid assault rifle) is manufactured and used. It can change barrels and receivers for NATO 5.56 or use 7.62. That said, I guarantee they are focused on getting them 7.62. It's simply a better, more lethal round

I'm sure Nancy Pelosi appreciates it. Less money that comes out of her share of the slush fund.
