Former Astros Player Ken Giles Offers To Give Back His World Series Ring
© Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher and former Astros closer, Ken Giles, who was part of the 2017 World Series team says he'll give his ring back if they want...
quote:

“Whatever they ask, I would oblige,” Giles told the Toronto Sun. “Because what was going on at the time was not OK.”

“It just hurts. If they want it back, I’ll be true to whatever needs to be done.”

Giles should’ve given his ring back long before any scandal

exactly. Give the god-damn ring back and THEN make grand announcements. These type of lectures of what he could woulda mighta do are getting tiresome

Is this the same guy that was punching himself in the face when he got pulled? Cool. I value his opinion.

Take it back and give it to someone else on the staff who was with them that year. When Giles retires and he's like "I wish I still had my ring" he might realize how dumb it was.

Yeah, because in 10 years when we find out this wasn't just the Astros, he'll realize they weren't really doing anything so terrible, they were just the first to get caught doing it... Ala the steroids. First few guys who got busted were crucified... then we realized everyone was doing it and now we accept that it was just that era of baseball.

Everyone's cheating, Astros just got caught big time. Not an Astros fan at all, I'm just stating an opinion. This wasn't the first time cheating happened, and this won't be the last.

Where was this concern when he was playing for the Astros. Why not stand up then and say this is wrong. Hypocrisy at its finest.
