Nothing but mad respect for that guy. Hell of a coach and one hell of a straight shooter.

He wanted to retire last season but stayed out of loyalty to SC so they can find a decent replacement. I hope they are looking so the GOAT can retire to the golf game.

Kinda felt bad for him listening to that, sounds like he isn't having fun anymore, he has nothing left to prove, he made Carolina a contender for several years. Maybe time to hang it up. Have him replace Corso.

What a character Spurrier is. Still one of the very best coaches to have coached this game IMHO. His candor just makes him more entertaining.
