A source has told DraftInsider.Net that junior running back Stevan Ridley will enter the NFL draft. In his press conference this morning, Les Miles had mentioned Ridley as a potential underclassman that could leave early, and that he had planned to speak with Ridley this week to discuss his options. Ridley would join Patrick Peterson as underclassmen leaving early for the NFL Draft.

Ridley's departure would open the door for a bevy of young running back talent on LSU's roster, including freshmen Spencer Ware and Michael Ford. Ware rushed for 102 yards on 10 carries in LSU's victory of Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl.

Good luck to him. He had a great season this year.

But, if we could afford to lose a stud at any position, it was running back.

Thank God LSU is loaded in the backfield. Ware and Ford should be able to make up the difference.

Thanks for the memories Ridley, good luck in the NFL and hopefully the Skins take you with one of their later picks.
