Head coach Brian Kelly recently revealed that starting defensive tackle and team captain Mekhi Wingo will miss the rest of the regular season as he recovers from surgery.

Senior tackle Jordan Jefferson, who transferred to LSU from West Virginia, will likely get a bulk of the snaps in place of Wingo, along with Jacobian Guillory.

On Wednesday's SEC Coaches Teleconference, Kelly was asked about Jefferson, who he called one of the strongest players on the team.
