It's gonna come down to how does he play the position. Decision making and pocket presence are the keys. The physical is there to make it happen. Time will tell.

correct. Having a big arm is good, but there's WAY more to it than that.

Cannon for an arm, you notice immediately how the balls come out with powerful velocity. He was a lil inaccurate throwing here, but that will be corrected and fine by the time it's regular summer practice coming in. Dude can sling it, that's what you notice immediately about him!

"He was a lil inaccurate throwing here, but that will be corrected".... how exactly will that be corrected?

Brennan was definitely a rail when he came in, but he's bulked up and looks like a grown man now. Nobody has ever questioned his arm strength and accuracy, as those are definitely his strengths. Still looks like he can put a little soft touch on some of those passes but it's still very early and we have two years with him. It's going to be a fun ride again.

He seemed to have better zip on the ball than the rest.

When you win NC's and play through January it comes fast. I hope we get used to it!

IMO the key to Myles' and LSU's success this year will be the consistent positive play of the OL!!!

I see Garrett Nusmeier standing in the background watching intently. Hopefully, he'll enroll early and will be throwing with the QBs next spring.

We are getting some damn good quality QB coaching. The Les Miles era of QBs is officially gone.

I know it has never been in question... But that ball speed is scary. He's gonna break a d lineman's finger if they try to tip a pass

This just in - TJ Finley is very tall. And Brennan has a canon. Haven’t been football-deprived at all and already excited to see this new team. Geaux tigers.

Not going to lie. Brennan's release and velocity looks elite. I don't think it's fair for anyone to expect any QB to duplicate the magical season Burrow had last year, but Brennan looks NFL level if he stays healthy. His weight coming into college has been a concern for whether or not he can make it through a season of SEC hits, but with the work he has done the last few years to bulk up, I'm pretty hopeful. How crazy for us to potentially have two NFL QBs back to back at LSU when we've gone so long without legit QB talent.

Idk how he’s going to be once we hit the game, but one thing is for sure: he can sling it.

Still gotta see it on the field before I believe it. Sorry.
