Former LSU star and current Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback Tre'Davious White met with the media on Thursday and talked about Rob Gronkowski's one-game suspension for delivering a late cheap shot to the back of White's head.

White called the one-game suspension "a joke" and said that he has not received an apology from the New England tight end.

Nfl players should protest

Don’t count on White’s teammates to protest. They apparently have better things to do than to stand up for their teammate. What piles of crap they are!

Im mad that you intercepted a pass that I was supposed to catch. Now I am going to drop my full weight into my elbow into the back of your head. If you look at it for what it actually is. Its kind of sad and pathetic. 1 game is an absolute joke considering White is going to miss time as well being in a concussion protocol.

Tre White is easily one of the best human beings to go through LSU’s program in quite some time. Makes Gronkowski look like a real steaming pile of shite, who would spear Tre fricking White of all people because he beat you on a play?

The bottom line is that Tre White has graded out as the 6th best cornerback in the league this year. Gronk was trying to take their best defensive player out of the game, clear as day. Gronk can't deny how dirty of a hit it was, very obvious.

It was like with 3 or 4 minutes to go in the game and the Pats were up by 20...

Funny the saints got busted because the nfl thought they were out to hurt other players.

It is a joke. I think it would be more reasonable to suspend him for the rest of the season than to suspend him for one game.

NFL has lost credibility on prevention of head injuries with this minimal suspension.

The NFL is shite. One game for a flagrant unsportsmanlike that caused a concussion when they're main 'focus' is on preventing concussions. It's all about the dollars and getting the Patriots to the Super Bowl. frick 'em.

@HueyP and @Trout Bandit - I agree. Gronk may as well have taken a sledge hammer to the back of White's helmet. I sure as hell hope his lame arse explanation of why he wound up and speared someone who was just laying on the ground wasn't taken into consideration in handing out this weak suspension.

Every game that dumb bitch plays from now on should feature at least one late hit on him.

1 game suspension is a joke, but Tre's teammates should have handled this on the field at the time.

Tre's right, Gronclownski should be suspended the rest of the year including the postseason.

Wouldn't be too broken up about seeing Gronk's knee turning inside out this week. Karma, motherfricker.

Proof the NFL has no serious interest in the health of its players. Gronk should be out multiple games for a deliberate attempt to injure another player.

Hope the Bills put the hit out on him when they play again Christmas Eve. Inexcusable

No doubt. He gave a public, standard apology to the media, but not to Tre’. That means he has no remorse and would do so again, if given the chance. I thought NFL players were supposed to be a brotherhood. Don’t look like bro I’d want to go to battle with. Nor would I have anything for White’s teammates. Talk about Not having your back! Literally!
