Needs to polish up his public speaking and press conference demeanor. You can tell he is young, excited to see him continue to mature

you think public speaking skills is needed to win football games in college? I bet many successful college qbs over the years could barely speak coherently

Excited to see this offense but the offense wasn’t and I don’t think will be the issue last year or this year, it’s that defense that I’m really ready to see. I went back and to anyone who wants to get a small glimpse of what we might be this year, I’d go back and look at some of last years tape. While it was extremely bad when it came to medium and long passes, the DL and secondary played great in the short field. The DL would allow a big run here and there but when it mattered they would hold up and got decent pressure. The new DC is a master with secondary play and knows defense overall so I think the players will respond to him and if they clean up the big plays as well as fine tune the DL play this D will be damn good. We played like a top 10 defense for stretches of games but then would totally come apart for big stretches as well. I think this DC has the makeup to get our defense back on track and possibly even better what Aranda did. I think Aranda was great but didn’t get the players to always respond. I think this guy will be able to do that as well as scheme like Aranda could. We’ll see but I think the D will improve immensely! Offense will give us 37 to 42 points a game. Defense needs to give us 20 to 24 / game or better. Sacks, TOs, pressures, TFL and open field tackles HAVE to improve and I believe they will improve or push all of last years numbers. Stingley back, Ricks back, and Ryan at mid season with the surrounding cast of Ward, Flott, McGlothern, Jones, Burns and add all the linebackers who can still cover, this defense has the makeup to be top 3 in the SEC and top 10 in the country. Plenty of experience on the DL with lots of young talent to rotate! Need to stay in gaps and rush the QB as a defense not as individuals! Close the QB or RB in!
