First thing you notice about Burrow is his accuracy and touch. Then you can see his field vision and how he goes through his progressions quickly. Then in his interviews you notice his competitive nature or spirit. He isn't afraid of failure or success. Obviously he is a competitor or he wouldn't have chosen LSU. He could have picked the sure thing in Cincy. This guy gets it though. He can plainly see how LSU only needs a passer to be very very good. Not to mention that this guy can indeed escape trouble if trouble comes. He's the perfect fit for LSU in 2018. Ed O and Steve E hit a homerun here. Anyone still questioning these guys as coaches need to just stfu and watch. Everything LSU has needed to shore up the holes in our roster coach O has either fixed or is working hard to fix it. If there was anything that I saw Steve E was very good at in 2016 it was the way in which he called a game. You never could put a finger on what was coming. I thought Matt Canada would provide that type of offense but even he was very predictable. Now that we have the peices, it's time for this staff to train them up. Cregg needs to get on the OL, Robinson the RBs, Sullivan the WRs and passing game, routes, technique ect. Steve E the QBs and let's put this offense together. Aranda needs to have this defense in the best shape of their lives. It's time to go to work and put in the time. This is separation time Tigers. This is where you separate your team from the pack. You have to work harder than the rest. Not just go put in some time but put in some OT. When you practice make sure it's to perfection. Fast but quality speed. You don't get this time back. You now have all the peices you will need. Leaders on offense need to emerge and demand perfection from the rest. Especially from the OL and QB. This OL needs to sharpen their skills, get tough and lead by example. The QB needs to do the same. Let's go get this done boys!!! No time to waste. You wanna be a champion? Well your coach just set you up to accomplish that goal. Y'all can flip the script in the SEC and take your spot back on top of college football.
