That defensive performance is not on the players, it's on the coaches. Yeah I get that all 11 players may not be elite, however, be creative to help your weaknesses. The schemes have to change. Playing Perk on an island is great but can you disguise things? Can you run stunts with the Dline? 700+ yards allowed is completely unacceptable.

Tulane only gave up 363 yards against Ole Miss. LSU goes out and gives up 711 and can’t even be in position. Pathetic.

if your offense can put up 49 points in a game, there is no way you should lose! Secondary is lost and your best rusher is getting washed out every play

This is on Matt House. Just say it CBK. It's easy to throw the players under the bus. Corey Raymond and Deronte Jones took the same defense that Poleni had that also had players lost and they made them look like a different team. You have to call plays to put your team in the best position to win.

How would you conduct an interview such as this after a brutal loss.. one that you know you could have and should have won?

The ignorance and quick trigger pull reactions that are called for by many just highlights that you’ve all never worked within a team. You will not always be successful, the plan you’ve constructed seldom goes down how you think it will.. that’s where you learn. Kelly is taking note and will make the changes, but they do not ever happen over night.

He just looks dis-interested and annoyed.Who is he looking at off stage? On Monday..he should have them.running gassers when they land until they puke..The D should be fresh as they didn't do anything all night.

What disturbs me about Kelly in the post-game presser is how reluctant he is to criticize the defense. It was all about if the offense had just done this or that the outcome could have been different. Was he asleep during the game??? Tulane held Ole Miss to 1/13 on 3rd downs. Let that sink in. That’s how bad this defense and defensive coordinator is. Kelly better get that smirk off his face before calls for his firing get louder than they already are.
