Other than Herman, I'm honestly not thrilled by any of those names over Orgeron

Herman is going to Texas. Fisher is not leaving FSU. Ed Orgeron is our coach and will continue to be our coach if anyone at LSU has any damn sense left.

Careful what you wish for. CEO plugged a big leak, but he's not CHAMPIONSHIP material. If you're wanting him for HC solely on the basis of him being local, then that's just dumb.

Tigerpawl, it is equally stupid to deny a man an opportunity if he earns the job just because he is a local. Tom Herman hasn't proven himself at all that he is ready for a job like LSU. He has lost to Navy and gotten blown out by SMU in the last 3 games. That is a concern. Jimbo has too many personal problems right now. His divorce is obviously having an effect on his coaching. Orgeron has done a great job so far making this team relevant again. Let'see what happens because the kids have bonded with not only Orgeron but this outstanding staff LSU has right now. It may be that LSU has the right guy already and I couldn't care less about what happened at Ole Miss.

rob62, if CEO beats Alabama and wins out or even has just one loss than I think he should be given a fair opportunity. But to me, I'm all in on Jimbo. It's Jimbo or bust. I mean the guy has won a NC at FSU, can recruit as good as anyone, is only 50 years old, and knows LSU and the SEC. I mean come on, the guy took Josh Reed and turned him from a RB to one of the greatest WR in LSU history

Wouldn't it be great to have a coach that can win games, fire up the players and the fans, motivate everyone around him, surround himself with very capable coaching staff, bring life back into the tiger stadium? Wait, could we actually already have this coach now; yeah, I'm speaking of coach Orgeron. In addition to all the important stuff mentioned above, he can also pronounce every name on the team correctly, loves everything LSU, hails from Louisiana, and just seems to really fit what LSU football needs and is looking for. I vote Coach "O" all the way, no other choice.

CEO, no doubt! Bring in a strong OC, let E got back to TE Coach, retain the rest of the staff, and let start winning some National Titles!

I like Coach O for CEO. I also like Aranda. If we could keep both on staff that would be awesome. I see Aranda being targeted by a lot of schools this year especially if Mullen is out at MSU.

Coach O will get the job or Jimbo Fisher. With respect to Herman, if LSU offers him, he should be offered no more that what is commensurate to his level of experience and no more. If Herman goes for it for an opportunity to coach in the prestigious SEC and at one of the most coveted coaching jobs in America, then he will be a smart man. If he wants more money, then he should be told to go take a hike.

At first, I thought Herman was the guy we needed. But I've been deviating from him with each passing week. Houston has been looking like shite lately and his offense isn't looking so "innovative" anymore.

retain everybody ... take the interim tag off of Coach O and let's get to work!

Keep O as HC, open the checkbook for Aranda, bring in some intense, young proven OC. $$$

1. Tom Herman (30%) 2. Jimbo Fisher (25%) 3. Gary Patterson (5%) 4. PJ Fleck (20%) 5. Ed Orgeron (20%) PJ Fleck is a ease Top 5 of attainable coach, For LSU. Have no Idea why he's not on this list. *BassMan63 - Just don't worry about LSU, just root for your own team.

Jimbo period. The guy has experience and has won a NC. Can recruit as good as anyone in the country. Only 50 years old. Look at all the QBs that have been taken in the first round under him, J Russell and Jamies Winston first overall, Christian Ponder, EJ Manuel. Everyone screams about wanting a great offense and a coach that has experience. Um hello! That's Jimbo! Period

Intriguing? Wonder how his recruiting skills would be. BTW, I'm not saying I want him.
