LSU (8-0, 4-0 SEC) remains at No. 4 in ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) Rankings heading into Saturday's showdown vs. Alabama (8-0, 4-0 SEC). The Crimson Tide are No. 2 in the FPI.

The current FPI gives LSU a 12.2-percent chance to win out.

ESPN's FPI is a joke. I really think they are just some writer's rankings and he just assigns an arbitrary number.

Computer rankings don't have a bias. Everything should be computer based rankings. Start with the old bcs formula Then you add a few points for winning your conference It's impossible for a computer to think back to last year .humans are biased by nature,and possibly subconsciously .
