This thing didn’t have us #1 last year after we won it.

they look at the team in a NEW WAY ea yr. BUT, I think ALL teams that win the NC the previous year should start out as #1 until proven otherwise (i,e, a loss) ...they earned the benefit of the doubt.

Bucky at number 4? Interesting.

Stomping Georgia’s arse 2 straight years hasn’t told these people anything?

Georgia returns a lot of 4 and 5 star talent. But, yeah, they still have Kirby Smart.

6 spot jump with no one even practicing. Sounds about right

ACC is stacked again this year. Why does Clemson even play the games? Just pencil them in for the playoffs.

Georgia will always be ranked high early on but it means nothing until they can get past the SEC West champion year in, year out

Georgia and Wisconsin are not better than LSU

GA will be a close call, Wisconsin....I do not think so.

ehh, UGA will be better than they were last year, I don't see us being better than we were last year

ESPN and their rankings...CNN and their projections on the 2016 election were more reliable.

I hesitated before I clicked the link because I know that the ESPN Power Rating Index is the most bogus index in college football there is.

They have Florida way too low. Florida is going to be LSU's toughest game this season.

Here are some negatives and positives for the coming 2020 season. Negatives- 1) No season at all. Thanks Dems 2) Just miss the playoffs if we have a season. Positives- 1) The Season will open on time . Thanks Republicans &Trump 2) Tigers will win 10+ games because of great defensive play (much better coaching)and a good offense led by remarkable QB play, coaching up by a stellar line coach , good backs and a awesome receiving core. 3)Recruiting will be a top five class. Mostly because of a diverse class of offensive lineman like LSU has never seen before ,a great QB and 4+ stars defenders.

I think you can thank Trump for not taking this virus serious, but if you need to blame the Dems for everything not right with your life, then go ahead.

SFCA Tiger - You're a complete idiot. President Trump placed a travel ban on China on 1/31, and Biden, Pelosi called him every name in the book. Pelosi even went to Chinatown on 2/24 and said we were all safe. Educate yourself, dumbass.

KCT - As soon as you started off with name-calling I knew you’re argument was going to be pathetic. Grow up and stop sucking on Trump’s teet.

We look to be pretty close to where I feel we should be. Maybe I'd put us at 4 ,but at least 5. Wisc Loses Jon Taylor and at least that good lineman biadaz or whatever his name is. We should be above Georgia until they prove they can be competitive against the upper echelon of the west. Newman is better then people think

I guess they’re saying the acquirement of Jabril Cox is worth a 6 spot bump. Plus a QB coming in to his 4th year (2nd year in this offense) - this is even more valuable now that spring and probably some of summer practice isn’t happening.

So the fpi had us at 12? Thought that was a human poll? IDK how computers would change based on one new linebacker. I call bs, that first poll that had Lsu at 12 Was a human poll. Don't care what anybody says.

The ESPN FPI might be the worst formula for anything ever created. It is as reliable as a wet fart.

I used the fpi just in a test for gambling . I used them just for odds, so no spread. There not bad.

Lol, ok. You do realize, that this past year isn't gonna happen every year. The bama decline shite is overstated. If Myles Breenan tears it up then yeah. If he don't, then Georgia Wisc and bama are gonna be a handful if we play the other two

I’m good with anything in the top 10 considering Miles Brennan really has it gotten his feet wet.

Nothing wrong with UGA being there. They have a squad. They won't be 2019 LSU, but they are shaping up to that type of build.

Only 6 SEC teams in the top 25? And Oklahoma is in the top ten??? I call this a bogus and biased report. At least eight of the top ten should be SEC schools, and eleven ought to be included in the top 25.

You may want to do some research angel. There's no way any conference is worthy of 8 out of top 10. Name the 8 teams that should even be ranked. Lsu Bama Georgia Florida Auburn Maybe Tennessee but that's way below top ten. That's 5 teams that are capable of being ranked. So ur saying there are 7 more in top 25? Name em what, maybe Missouri or south Carolina at 22to25 and that a major reach. The top 10 should only be Lsu, bama, georgia ,Florida is borderline as well as auburn. That's 5

Oklahoma has a highly touted qb, so we will see, but they should be over everyone in sec besides ,bama, Georgia ,Lsu.either Florida or auburn will be good too
